1. About Us
Example Weight Loss Clinic ("we", "us", "our") provides an online telehealth service offering clinically supervised weight management programmes. Our services are provided by qualified, registered healthcare professionals.
We are committed to providing safe, evidence-based care in accordance with UK regulatory requirements, including those set by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
2. Eligibility
Our services are available to individuals who:
- Are aged 18 or over
- Are resident in the United Kingdom
- Meet the clinical eligibility criteria as assessed by our prescribers
- Have completed our medical eligibility questionnaire honestly and accurately
We reserve the right to decline to provide services to any individual where we determine it would not be clinically appropriate or safe to do so.
3. Medical Disclaimer
Our services are not a substitute for emergency medical care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 999 or attend your nearest Accident & Emergency department immediately.
Prescriptions are only issued following a thorough clinical assessment by a qualified prescriber. We do not guarantee that a prescription will be issued following a consultation.
Individual results from our weight loss programmes will vary. We do not guarantee specific weight loss outcomes.
4. Appointments and Consultations
Consultations are conducted via secure video call (Microsoft Teams). You are responsible for ensuring you have a suitable device and internet connection.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee.
We reserve the right to terminate a consultation if we consider the behaviour of the patient to be inappropriate or abusive.
5. Payments and Refunds
Programme fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable unless we are unable to provide the service. Medication costs are separate from programme fees.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.
Monthly programme subscriptions can be cancelled at any time with at least 48 hours' notice before the next billing date. Cancellations do not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.
6. Prescriptions and Medications
All medications prescribed through our service are prescription-only medicines (POMs) regulated by the MHRA. They are prescribed solely on the basis of clinical need.
You must not share your prescribed medication with any other person. You must inform your prescriber of any changes to your health, medications, or circumstances that may affect your treatment.
Medications are dispensed by our partner pharmacy and delivered to your registered address. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party delivery services.
7. Patient Portal
Access to the patient portal is personal to you and must not be shared. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, and educational materials, is the intellectual property of Example Weight Loss Clinic and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of our services, except where such loss or damage results from our negligence, fraud, or breach of statutory duty.
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
